Hey there! I’m Amrutha, an artist and art educator based in Seattle, USA. I teach various traditional artforms from India and paint-making with natural pigments.
A decade back I took a leap of faith to follow my heart and pursue art full time as a self-taught artist – it has been a greatly rewarding experience since. These courses are a product of all my learnings thus far as a practicing artist, independent researcher and a teacher. I have had the absolute pleasure to teach in-person classes to more than 1200 students from various age groups and skill-levels in the past six years. I bring this teaching experience to now create online content which is of most value to students.
Through these courses, I want to help artists build their skills, technique and creative style to help them paint with confidence! I envision these courses to provide a deep and holistic understanding of Indian Art and celebrate the spirit of Indian painting. Welcome to my page! Apart from Art, I enjoy Books and Nature. I am also mom to a sweet two-year-old boy who is doing a great job teaching me parenting!
